Bringing our Community together through Photography.
The Galway Camera Club has been bringing photography enthusiasts together for over 60 years. Our goal is to improve our techniques in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
With a broad range of members from Professional to Amateur, we cater to all kinds of photography, from Digital to Film. We have members with interests in Infrared, Pinhole and Lomographic photography, along with more standard fare such as Landscape, Macro, Wild life, Studio and Portrait photography. In post production we work with Lightroom and Photoshop.
Through out the year classes are available to all members of the club both new members and more advanced members. Feel free to come to a meeting at any time. The Photography classes run from 7 to 8pm. each Thursday night.
We meet on a Thursday night at 8pm in the White Room of the GMIT Campus at Cluain Mhuire on the Wellpark Road, situated a short walk from the junction at the Huntsman.
