Ever wanted to photograph the stars? Then don't miss this talk.

Ever wondered how those amazing Milky Way Photos are taken? Or just how long you need to take a photo to have those curving star trails? Then don't miss this Thursday's show.

For this Thursday we have Frank Ryan of the Shannonside Astronomy Club visiting to give us a talk on Astrophotography. A member of the Shannonside astronomy club's executive, Frank has taken a number of both wide field (what you can see with the naked eye) and deep field (telescope assisted) photography over the years.

A passionate advocate of space and observing, Frank's made a study of some of the best places to observe the night sky in Ireland (clouds permitting) and provides talks on the Dark Sky initiatives as well as how best to capture the heavens with you digital camera.  This talk is sure to cover not only how, but where to best capture these images.

Hope to see everyone there!
